Dan is a debt finance lawyer with a focus on direct lending.

He represents clients in all aspects of secured financing transactions. He has experience representing lenders and private equity sponsors in leveraged acquisition financings, asset-based lending, debtor-in-possession and exit financings and other corporate lending transactions.

Prior to joining Orrick, Dan was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis and an associate at Davis Polk.

    • Nordic Capital in the debt financing for its $7.3 billion acquisition of Inovalon.
    • NortonLifeLock in the debt financing for its proposed $25 billion acquisition of Avast.
    • APC Automotive Technologies Intermediate Holdings, LLC (“APC”) and its affiliates in the debtor-in-possession and exit financings for their Chapter 11 cases.
    • FastMed Holdings I, LLC and certain of its affiliates (“FastMed”) in their deleveraging transaction which resulted in the consensual equitization of approximately $80 million in funded debt and the paydown of approximately $148 million in secured debt.
    • Nordic Capital in the debt financing for its acquisition of ArisGlobal LLC.
    • Wind Point Partners in the debt financings for multiple acquisitions, including A&R Logistics and Zone Mechanical.
