Sam Harris is a seasoned litigator who combines his diverse experience in government and business to provide the highest quality of legal advocacy for his clients.
Sam crafts creative solutions for clients facing complex challenges to their business. His practice focuses on financial and securities litigation. Sam's variety of experience helps him serve his clients whether prior to litigation, in the midst of discovery, or in the courtroom.
Prior to joining Orrick, Sam worked at the National Labor Relations Board in the Contempt, Compliance, Special Litigation Branch. He also gained valuable experience as a first chair litigator in the United States Navy JAG Corps where he took contested cases to verdict.
Sam worked as an analyst at a large international business consulting firm prior to attending law school. He also led a research project in eastern Canada as a National Geographic Young Explorer.
Sam enjoys learning Japanese, photography, and exploring Washington, DC on his bike.
