Brie Bridegum Pierznik

Senior Associate

Brie is a trusted advisor to emerging-growth companies and their investors. She leverages her previous experience as a litigator to help clients avoid and mitigate risk. She also credits her time working as in house counsel to several software companies with providing her a unique insight into the business—and not just legal—issues facing the industry.

Brie is a Senior Associate in Orrick’s Technology Companies Group. Her practice focuses on advising emerging technology companies and investors in a variety of transactional matters in the U.S. and internationally, including venture capital financings, exit transactions, technology licensing, corporate reorganization, governance and corporate and securities law.

Prior to joining Orrick, Brie was a corporate and intellectual property lawyer with Stoel Rives LLP. She is active within the startup and VC ecosystem and serves as an attorney mentor to the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) and Built Accelerator. She is also deeply involved with Portland State University's InventOR program, an invention and entrepreneurship competition for college-aged students throughout the Pacific Northwest.
