Matt’s practice focuses on project development in the renewable energy sector, guiding clients through the energy transition and assisting them in achieving their sustainability and decarbonization goals.

Matt represents major corporate buyers and project developers in the drafting and negotiation of virtual and physical power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, REC agreements (including 24/7 hourly delivery), load following agreements, and carbon removal agreements. He has worked on projects located in energy markets around the world. Matt also has experience working on agreements concerning the construction of renewable energy projects, including turbine supply and service agreements, EPC agreements, battery energy storage system (BESS) supply agreements, and subcontracts of various scopes.

During law school, Matt was a summer associate at global law firms in Costa Rica and Mexico and served as the President of Georgetown Law’s Latin American Law Students Association.
