Abigail Dagher, an associate in Orrick's Orange County office, is a member of the Intellectual Property Group. Her practice focuses on U.S. and international trademark and copyright counseling and prosecution, advising clients across various stages and industries on branding and copyright protection strategies, as well as resolving related disputes.
Abigail’s background in marketing and business development gives her a practical understanding of how brands grow and operate, helping her provide trademark and copyright advice that supports her clients’ business goals. She counsels clients in managing domestic and international trademark and copyright portfolios, guiding them through all stages from selection, clearance and prosecution to registration, maintenance, and expansion. Abigail’s experience includes preparing and advising on brand and copyright licenses, assignments and agreements, as well as implementing protection and enforcement strategies.
Additionally, she assists with handling opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and managing matters related to online content, including takedown procedures and domain name disputes. Beyond her trademark and copyright work, Abigail has helped with legal matters in false advertising, unfair competition, global marketing, emerging technology and privacy.
