Senior Associate
New York
Cameron, a senior associate based in Orrick's New York office, advises founders, executives, boards of directors, and venture capital investors across the full company lifecycle—guiding high-growth companies from formation and fundraising to strategic transactions, acquisitions and IPOs—with strategic, business-minded counsel focused on building strong legal foundations that support long-term success.
Cameron is a trusted advisor to founders, executives and boards of directors, guiding high-growth companies through every stage of the lifecycle while serving as outside general counsel, advising on day-to-day legal, operational and strategic matters as they scale. In this role, Cameron has developed deep expertise navigating complex venture financing rounds—from seed and early-stage venture capital raises to later-stage growth equity investments.
Cameron also represents leading venture capital and growth equity funds, advising them throughout the investment process on deal structuring, due diligence, portfolio company governance and the negotiation of investment documents, bringing a well-rounded perspective informed by his experience on both sides of the table.
Cameron's dual-side experience allows him to anticipate issues, bridge gaps between parties, and deliver practical, efficient advice that moves transactions forward. He is known for his responsiveness, commercial judgment, and ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for clients navigating fast-paced markets.
Prior to joining Orrick, Cameron was a senior associate at Goodwin Procter LLP in the New York office.
Cameron earned his J.D. from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and his B.A. from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.
