John Seegal, a partner in the San Francisco office, is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. He concentrates his practice on corporate counseling with a focus on buying and selling companies and helping companies to raise capital through public and private offerings of securities.

He has developed particular knowledge and experience in acting as special counsel for sellers and buyers of middle-market companies. This area of practice includes advising buyers and sellers with respect to acquisition strategy, leading or participating in negotiations, structuring friendly mergers and tender offers, and assisting in the smooth implementation of the acquisition transaction, the integration of the acquired business, and the protection of the interests of the shareholders, directors and management of the acquired business.
