Chapin Scaggs is an associate in the Boston office and a member of Orrick's Technology Companies Group.

Chapin focuses on representing high-growth technology companies of all sizes throughout their life-cycles-- from general formation and corporate governance through to venture capital and private equity financings.  He also advises investors and venture capital firms in their investments in early and high growth technology companies.

  • Chapin's prior experience includes a wide range of financing transactions, including asset-backed and syndicated lending, private equity financings, and alternative financings (e.g., public-private partnership ("P3"), environmental social governance ("ESG") financings, and federal grant funding). Additionally, he assisted clients in first of kind transactions in the clean energy and clean tech space.
