Amisha R. Patel counsels and defends clients in high-stakes complex commercial disputes and consumer class actions, with a focus on cybersecurity and privacy litigation.
Amisha partners with in-house counsel to devise and execute strategies that align with advancing their overall business goals. She advises clients across industries such as technology, finance, consumer products, and pharmaceuticals. Her practice includes all aspects of class action and civil litigation in state and federal courts and private arbitration and mediation.
Amisha regularly defends against cybersecurity, privacy, and consumer protection class action litigation claims and mass arbitrations, advises clients on the use of online technologies and tools like cookies and pixels, and is well-versed in issues relating to consumer consent. She has also represented companies and individuals before federal regulatory and enforcement agencies, including the DOJ and SEC.
Amisha maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigration and civil rights issues.
Amisha previously taught at The George Washington University Law School as an adjunct professor in the Scholarly Writing Program.
