Armando represents leading developers and corporate clients in the purchase, sale, and storage of electrical energy.
Armando's practice focuses on drafting and negotiating offtake agreements, including physical and virtual power purchase agreements and energy storage agreements.
Armando started his legal career at an international law firm in Dubai. Before joining Orrick, Armando most recently served as Assistant General Counsel at Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA), where he negotiated utility scale offtake agreements for the benefit of SCPPA member utilities and resolved legal issues arising from SCPPA's portfolio of energy assets.
