Jennifer Morrill is Of Counsel in Orrick’s Technology Transactions Group. Jennifer provides a practical, business-oriented approach to legal issues, and a people-first approach to clients, colleagues, and the teams and businesses she works with. Her 20+ year legal practice includes both inbound and outbound technology and content licensing, intellectual property protection, sales and marketing transactions, and general corporate and commercial matters for Fortune 500 enterprises and startup companies in the technology, internet and consumer sectors.

Prior to joining Orrick, Jennifer served as Vice President at LinkedIn Corporation, and led the Commercial Legal Team responsible for all commercial contracting matters in the Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), including sales and agency relationships, advertising and marketing programs, talent and development services, LinkedIn Learning Solutions products, content delivery network (CDN) and networking architecture, corporate IT and facilities infrastructure, real estate, and all other procurement activities. During Jennifer’s tenure at LinkedIn, she led commercial diligence activities for several LinkedIn acquisitions, including Microsoft’s acquisition of LinkedIn, and founded and co-facilitated LinkedIn’s award-winning pro bono legal program.

Jennifer has also served as counsel at Netflix, Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Adobe Systems Incorporated and Cisco Systems, and as CEO to a consumer good start-up, Adiri, Inc. During Jennifer’s tenure as CEO, Adiri’s products received distribution in Babies R Us and Whole Foods, and won over 15 international parenting, medical and design awards (several alongside the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch).
