Boyd is a member of Orrick's Supreme Court and Appellate practice.
Before joining Orrick, Boyd served as a law clerk to Judge Susan P. Graber of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Janis L. Sammartino of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic and as an Articles Editor for the Virginia Law Review.
