A former Federal Circuit clerk, Angela Peterson is an associate in the Supreme Court and Appellate Group, focusing on IP and patent appeals.
Prior to joining Orrick, Angela practiced for two years at Ahmad, Zavitsanos, & Mensing PC in Houston. She was a member of six trial teams and took witnesses, spoke to juries, and argued dispositive motions, posttrial motions, and jury charges in state and federal courts. In addition to her trial work, she also took lead on venue and jurisdictional motions, argued key terms at claim construction, and assisted with appellate briefing.
Angela served as a law clerk to Judge Timothy B. Dyk of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
