Trudie advises project developers and investors on high-value transactions across the renewable energy sector, including utility-scale and distributed solar, energy storage and wind, with a practice focused on project finance.

Trudie works closely with clients on complex financing transactions, including debt financings, tax equity and preferred equity investments, tax credit transfers and joint ventures. She brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to deals that balances legal requirements and business objectives to efficiently drive transactions to closing.

    • A syndicator in a tax equity financing of a 500 MWh energy storage project in Massachusetts. 
    • Multiple developers in the sale of investment tax credits (ITCs) from energy storage projects.
    • Catalyze in the construction and term debt financing and tax equity financing of a portfolio of approximately 75 MW of commercial and industrial (C&I) and community solar projects across the United States.
    • A developer in the acquisition, construction and term debt financing and tax equity financing of a 99.7 MWh energy storage facility in San Luis Obispo County, California.
    • esVolta in the tax equity financing for its 60 MWh Santa Paula energy storage project, one of the first tax equity financings for a standalone energy storage project.
    • Chevron New Energies in a joint venture to develop, construct and own a green waste-to-hydrogen production facility in Richmond, California.
    • Primergy Solar in the sale of a minority stake in the US$1.2 billion 690 MW solar and 380 MW energy storage Gemini project outside of Las Vegas to APG, the largest pension asset manager in the Netherlands.
    • Primergy Solar on the $1.9 billion debt and tax equity financing of its 690 MW solar and 380 MW energy storage Gemini project in Nevada.
    • A developer in a tax equity financing and back-leverage financing that were part of a six project portfolio, consisting of 2.3 GW of late-stage solar projects with 1.8 GWh of energy storage.
