Trudie is a member of Orrick's Energy and Infrastructure team.

Trudie advises renewable energy developers, private equity funds, and investors on complex transactions across the renewable energy sector, with a focus on debt and tax equity financings, joint ventures, and project acquisitions and sales.

    • A developer in the acquisition, construction and term debt financing and tax equity financing of a 99.7 MWac battery energy storage facility in San Luis Obispo County, California.
    • esVolta on the tax equity financing for its 60 MWh Santa Paula energy storage project, one of the first tax equity financings for a standalone energy storage project.
    • Chevron New Energies in a joint venture to develop, construct and own a green waste-to-hydrogen production facility in Richmond, California.
    • Primergy Solar in the sale of a minority stake in the US$1.2 billion 690 MW solar + 380 MW storage Gemini project outside of Las Vegas to APG, the largest pension asset manager in the Netherlands.
    • Primergy Solar on the $1.9 billion debt and tax equity financing of its 690 MW solar and 380 MW storage Gemini project in Nevada.
    • A developer in a tax equity financing and back-leverage financing that were part of a six project portfolio, consisting of 2.3 GWdc of late-stage solar projects with 1.8 GWh of storage.
    • An international utility in a sale of a minority stake in a portfolio of operating wind projects in the United States.
