Alison Roffi is Orrick's Deputy Chief Legal Officer and is located in the New York Office.

Alison is responsible for providing counsel on the firm's global legal affairs, including matters related to corporate governance, litigation, contracts, insurance, ethics and risk management.

In addition to her firm responsibilities, Alison represents clients in litigation and pro bono matters.


    Significant involvement in recent cases includes:

    • Representation of a major pharmaceutical company, an international delivery company, a luxury automotive manufacturer, and a Big Four audit firm in actions against their insurers concerning coverage under insurance policies. 
    • Representation of Credit Suisse and Nomura in state and federal litigations in connection with the banks' underwriting of residential mortgage-backed securities.
    • Representation of Big Four accounting firms in state and federal lawsuits and regulatory investigations.
    • Representation of 15 juveniles in a class action on behalf of all children detained by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services to address violations of their constitutional rights.
