Ryan's practice focuses on the development and operation of energy and infrastructure projects throughout the United States.

Ryan represents developers, project sponsors and owners in the development, construction and operation of energy assets, primarily renewable and conventional power technologies. In addition to his work in the energy infrastructure space, Ryan has significant experience in the development and construction of hyperscale data centers.

Ryan's experience includes negotiating and drafting a wide range of project agreements, including those related to engineering, construction and procurement (EPC) ; equipment supply; operations and maintenance; and long-term services.

  • Energy Infrastructure

    • Preparation and negotiation of project development agreements, including an EPC agreement and long-term maintenance agreement for a natural gas fired simple cycle power plant located in Texas.
    • Preparation and negotiation of project development agreements, including an EPC agreement and related turbine supply agreement for a wind energy project located in Montana.
    • Preparation and negotiation of project development agreements, including an EPC agreement and related solar panel supply agreement for a photovoltaic solar energy project located in Indiana.
    • Preparation and negotiation of project development agreements, including an EPC agreement and related solar panel supply agreement for a photovoltaic solar energy project located in Ohio.
    • Preparation and negotiation of project development agreements, including an EPC agreement for a photovoltaic solar energy project located in Utah.
    • Preparation and negotiation of liquefaction tolling agreement for owner of an FLNG project.
    • Development of LNG sale and purchase agreement for U.S. Gulf Coast LNG project.
    • Preparation and negotiation of gas sales agreement from Canadian gas producer to U.S. Gulf Coast LNG project.

    Data Centers

    • Preparation and negotiation of construction agreements for a 1.2-gigawatt data center campus located in Texas.
    • Preparation and negotiation of construction agreements for a 1400-acre data center campus located in New Mexico.
    • Preparation and negotiation of construction agreements for a ~300-acre data center campus located in Virginia.
