Hunter Jackson's practice focuses on various aspects of public/private project financing and traditional public finance.
Hunter serves as counsel to financial institutions that underwrite taxable and tax-exempt public securities, as well as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to various public entities. Prior to joining Orrick, Hunter served as special counsel to private real estate developers, including various publicly traded national homebuilders, on special district land-backed financings totaling more than $200 million. Hunter also served as an assistant attorney general in the Public Finance Division of the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Texas where he reviewed the legal sufficiency of public securities issued in the State.
