Marius focuses on advising on venture capital transactions, particularly regarding the incorporation and financing of start-ups and scale-ups, as well as on employee participation programs, restructuring measures, and other corporate law issues.
He advises investors on equity and debt financing of young (tech) companies. He supports founders in financing rounds as well as in all phases of growth, and in internationalization projects. In addition, he advises on (virtual and equity-based) employee participation programs, and general corporate law matters.
Prior to joining Orrick as a lawyer, Marius worked as scientific assistant for two international law firms and participated in a complementary study program on legal issues relating to artificial intelligence. During his legal clerkship, he completed stages at, among others, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Berlin and another international law firm in Düsseldorf and Stockholm.
