Ellie works with clients across the energy & infrastructure sector on project development and financings, with a particular focus on renewable energy generation and storage projects.
Ellie is a member of Orrick's Energy & Infrastructure Group, which is recognized as Band 1 in Energy Transition and Band 1 in Renewable & Alternative Energy Projects by Chambers USA (2025). Her clients include leading developers of solar, hydrogen, energy storage, carbon sequestration and energy transmission projects.
She advises clients throughout renewable energy project development including negotiating offtake agreements, project acquisitions and sales, tax credit transfers and debt and equity project financings. Her project teams at Orrick take a collaborative approach to help clients navigate complex financings and regulatory requirements.
Ellie's experience spans the legal technical components of the energy transition. As a law student she served as Editor in Chief of Ecology Law Quarterly. She also helped lead the Clean Energy Leaders in Law organization, worked for the Massachusetts Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience, and participated in the Environmental Law Clinic.
