Margaretha Kramer, née Lawrynowicz, is an Associate in the Düsseldorf office and a member of the International Arbitration Group.

Margaretha's activities focus on national and international court and arbitration cases in particular involving corporate and distribution matters as well as disputes in the gas price revision and post M&A fields.

Margaretha has been involved in disputes under the auspices of the ICC, ICDR, ICSID, DIS and the LCIA.
  • Most recently Margaretha was involved in the following matters:

    • Advising a private equity investor with respect to the execution of a M&A transaction with a value of EUR 50 million.
    • Representing a foreign car dealer during an ICC arbitration case with its main focus on distribution law and with a value of USD 100 million.
    • Representing a European energy company in a dispute against an international consortium as general contractor in connection with a turn-key EPC contract for the construction of a power plant (Value: EUR 600 million).
    • Advising a venture capital investment fund during the financing of a start-up in the medical technology field and then advising the start-up during the expansion to Poland.
