Ben Litchfield assists clients in a wide range of matters, including regulatory examinations and regulatory compliance issues for banks and nonbank financial institutions, as well as government enforcement actions and internal investigations.
Prior to joining Orrick, Ben was an associate at Buckley LLP. He previously served as counsel for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where he provided direct legal advice to bureau examiners on the applicability of federal consumer financial laws related to credit card account management, mortgages, student loans, and automobile loan originations and servicing. Ben has also worked for the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU).
