  Self-Storage Facilities:

  • Representation of joint venture in connection with a $92.5 million loan secured by a portfolio consisting of 11 individually owned self-storage facilities in 5 states.*
  • Representation of joint venture in connection with two simultaneous portfolio loans totaling $175 million and an amendment to a related $39 million loan, secured by 21 individually owned self-storage facilities in 6 states.*
  • Representation of developer in connection with the acquisition, financing, development, and construction of self-storage units nationally.*

  Industrial:

  • Representation of food manufacturing client in the sale of over $197 million of real estate consisting of a 15-property industrial portfolio comprising over 11 million sq. ft. of land in 10 states.*
  • Representation of client in a simultaneous acquisition, lease-back, and construction loan financing transaction involving a 120 acre property in Danville, Virginia. The project contemplated the development and construction of an approximately 391,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility on the site, intended for use as a lithium-ion battery separator manufacturing operation. The transaction was supported by $46.8 million in construction costs and was anchored by substantial public-private incentives tied to long-term capital investment and employment commitments.*

  Office Buildings:

  • Representation of real estate fund in connection with the combined sale of an air rights lease, a ground lease, and the related parking agreements for a Class A office building in Miami for $162.5 million.*
  • Representation of real estate fund in connection with the sale of a vertically subdivided Class A office building in Chicago for $38.6 million.*

  Multifamily:

  • Representation of client in connection with the sale of a multifamily building with retail tenant in Westmont, Illinois for $37 million.*

  Automotive Retail:

  • Representation of client in the $23 million acquisition and financing of 14 properties, and negotiations of leases for additional properties, for an asset purchase of multiple truck dealerships.*

  Data Center Campus Development:

  • Representation of data center developers nationwide in connection with site acquisition, ground and facility leasing, power and connectivity agreements, and operational matters.*

  Fulton-Randolph Market District of Chicago:

  • Representation of client in the $82 million acquisition, $233 million construction financing, $350 million development, and lease-up of a new-construction Class A mixed-use office and retail development consisting of 373,053 sq. ft.*
  • Representation of commercial developer in connection with acquisition, financing, leasing, and development of various properties.*

  Zoning:

  • Representation of client in obtaining a special use variance in the Village of Oak Park, Illinois.*
