IPX Power announced the closing of an $800 million corporate credit facility to support its continued growth. The facility is composed of a $600 million revolving credit facility and a $200 million letter of credit facility.
Orrick acted as counsel to IPX Power.
IPX Power is an independent power producer that develops, owns, and operates some of the world’s largest clean energy resources, delivering affordable, reliable power to utilities and other customers. IPX has 4.4 GW of solar PV and 8.8 GWh of battery storage in construction or operation.
IPX Power formed in March 2026 through the spin-off of Intersect Power's grid-tied clean energy business, following Google's acquisition of Intersect's digital power business.
The facility will be used to fund pre-notice to proceed (“NTP”) capital for its development projects, and for other general corporate purposes. The transaction is a testament to IPX’s independent platform and strong financial partnerships and will enable the continued development of its project pipeline at scale.
The Orrick team is led by Rob Warfield and includes Will Davis and Sarafina Joseph.
