Orrick Adds Public Finance Partner in Los Angeles

• Jade Turner-Bond joins Orrick’s Public Finance team as a partner in Los Angeles.
• Jade has over 15 years’ experience advising on the structuring, development and financing of infrastructure projects across all asset classes, with particular focus on water and waste facilities, transportation and social infrastructure. She brings extensive experience serving as bond, disclosure, underwriter’s, developer’s, lender’s and investor’s counsel on a broad spectrum of taxable and tax-exempt structures.
• She joins Orrick’s Chambers Band 1-ranked Public Finance group, which has ranked as top bond counsel for the past 25 years, advising on 610 transactions aggregating more than $59.7 billion in 2024 — the most active team in the country with an 11.4% national market share (The Bond Buyer).
• Recognized by Chambers as an ‘Up-and-Coming’ partner in Public Finance, Jade began her career with Orrick and joins the firm from Nixon Peabody.

Recently Jade served as bond counsel to the City of Los Angeles in connection with its issuance of several wastewater transactions. She also served as bond counsel to The Broad museum in connection with its issuance of tax-exempt bonds for its museum expansion project in downtown Los Angeles ahead of the 2028 Olympics and as purchaser’s counsel to Morgan Stanley to help finance an in-patient rehabilitation facility for the Mayo Clinic. She has developed relationships with clients such as the City of Los Angeles, the State of California, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the Port of Los Angeles, and The Broad, as well as some of the most active underwriters in the market.

Jade serves on the board of directors of GRID110, an economic and community development nonprofit dedicated to creating clearer pathways for early-stage entrepreneurs in Los Angeles. She was recognized by Bloomberg Law’s They’ve Got Next: 40 Under 40 in 2022, as well as by The Bond Buyer as a Rising Star and in Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women of Influence in 2021.

Jade is Orrick’s sixth partner hire this year in SoCal, following tech company and venture capital advisors Mike Heath, Cody Peterson, Tim Greene and Nick Feldman, and E&I project finance advisor Matt Nesburn.
