Former Top Illinois Deputy AG Adam Braun Joins Orrick

  • Adam Braun, who until recently Executive Deputy Attorney General of Illinois, has joined Orrick’s State and Federal Government Solutions practice in Chicago. Adam served under Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul from 2019 until earlier this year.
  • In his role as executive deputy AG, Adam coordinated multistate activity for the office, including serving on the Executive Committee that led settlement negotiations to resolve nationwide opioid litigation. He also served as liaison to the National Association of Attorneys General and the Democratic Attorneys General Association.
  • Adam brings deep experience in the legislative policy arena, spearheading legislative initiatives on Organized Retail Crime, preventing youth vaping, and expanding the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.
