Orrick advised the Kingdom of Morocco as to English and U.S. law in connection with its Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of €1,000,000,000 aggregate principal amount of notes. Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Natixis acted as joint lead managers for the offering. This was the Kingdom of Morocco’s first international notes offering in five years, with proceeds from the notes to be used to finance the country’s budget deficit.
