Our German team once again rose in the rankings in the new edition of the JUVE Handbook, the leading law firm directory in Germany.
For the first time ever, Orrick achieved two Band 2 rankings in Germany, for Private Equity and Venture Capital. In addition, our Munich and our Düsseldorf offices both rose in the rankings, while the overall number of Orrick lawyers recommended in the guide increased to 31. We also maintained our strong rankings across M&A, Corporate and Arbitration/Mediation.
Once again, Siegfried Elsing is included in the “Renowned Party Representatives in Arbitration Proceedings” as well as “Renowned Arbitrators” rankings, while Christoph Brenner and Sven Greulich have been newly recognized among the “Leading Advisors for Private Equity Transactions” and “Leading Advisors for Venture Capital,” respectively.
This follows our Germany team’s recent recognition at the annual JUVE Awards, where we were one of five firms shortlisted for “Law Firm of the Year for Private Equity & Venture Capital.” JUVE described Orrick as “one of the most successful midcap PE practices” in Germany and highlighted the “brilliant development” of our venture practice in Germany.
