Orrick has advised Eight Roads Ventures, Fidelity International Ltd’s venture capital arm, in its $20 million investment in UK learning management platform Fuse Universal.
The Fuse system is used by more than 100 companies for a more convenient employee training experience, by enabling employees to view short, bite-sized training clips online or offline, on their smartphones, tablets or computers.
The funding will support Fuse's geographic expansion and allow the company to invest in educational technology, including machine learning and augmented reality. As part of the investment, Michael Treskow, a partner at Eight Roads Ventures, will join the Fuse board.
