Orrick Earns Perfect Score on Corporate Equality Index for 12th Consecutive Year

Orrick earned a perfect score in the 2018 edition of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and Best Places to Work survey. This is the 12th year in a row that Orrick has scored 100% in the survey.

The CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. To achieve a perfect score, businesses must have fully-inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide equal employment benefits, demonstrate organizational LGBTQ competency, evidence their commitment to equality publicly and exercise responsible citizenship.
