Orrick Advised Naturex S.A. in Acquisition of Sweden's Oat Fiber AB

Orrick advised Naturex S.A. in the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Oat Fiber AB, a Swedish manufacturer of dietary fiber, oat oils and oat protein products.

Naturex, a worldwide leader of natural specialty ingredients for the food, health and cosmetic industries, accelerates its natural specialty ingredients portfolio with the completion of its third external growth operation in 2017. Oat Fiber AB’s buyout will enable Naturex to strengthen its nutrition activity and to benefit from competitive advantages in product tracing, quality of raw materials, technology know-how and scientific appraisal.

The Paris-based team that advised Naturex included partner George Rigo and associates Gergana Rodriguez-Bacarreza and Cécile Renaud.
