Orrick’s associates gave the firm our highest marks ever on The American Lawyer’s annual Midlevel Associate Survey, ranking Orrick #5 nationwide for job satisfaction. This follows the firm’s inclusion on the The American Lawyer A-List for the ninth time, with a particularly high score for associate satisfaction.
Orrick rose one spot from last year’s #6 ranking nationwide. We also scored highly in the survey’s regional rankings, with our Houston and Sacramento offices taking first place in those markets for the second consecutive year; Silicon Valley second; San Francisco third, Washington, D.C. fifth; New York sixth; and Los Angeles eighth.
The Midlevel Associates Survey asks third-, fourth-, and fifth-year associates to grade their firms in a number of areas. More than 70% of Orrick’s eligible associates participated in the 2017 survey.
The survey is the latest recognition of our efforts to make Orrick a great place to work. Earlier this year, our associates voted us a top 5 Best Law Firm to Work For and a top 5 Summer Program in the Vault 2018 Law Firm Associate Survey. In addition, Fortune named Orrick one of the top 100 Best Companies to Work For the second year in a row.
