Orrick ranked as the most active venture capital law firm in Europe in Pitchbook's 2016 Global League Tables. The ranking – based on publicly disclosed venture capital financings – reports that the firm completed more than twice as many transactions as its nearest competitor. In 2016, Orrick’s European team completed transactions across Europe, Africa and the Middle East from offices in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Russia.
Globally, the firm counsels more than 1,600 high growth companies and 100 venture capital firms. In 2016, Orrick completed over 330 transactions across 35 countries valued at $5 billion in venture capital financings. Over the past three years, the firm has completed more than 900 venture capital transactions totaling more than $14 billion.
