Orrick advised the international investors of iTAC Software AG, a Germany-based company, in the acquisition by Dürr AG, in particular TVM, Pari Group, Sapphire Ventures, VRP and VMU. iTAC is specialized in IT and production technology. Dürr is one of the world’s leading mechanical and plant engineering firms.
Since its founding in 1998, iTAC Software AG has been specializing in providing internet technologies for the manufacturing industry. The manufacturer of standard software and products for cross-company IT applications is an industry leading system and solution provider of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the entire supply chain. Implementing the Internet of Things and Services has been the focus of the company’s strategic direction right from the beginning.
