Orrick announced today that leading trial lawyer Glenn Dassoff has joined the firm as a partner in its Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Glenn will be resident in Orrick’s Orange County office.
Glenn is one of Southern California’s most accomplished litigators. He has first-chaired more than 50 trials and has delivered high-stakes wins for blue-chip clients in the technology, financial services, real estate, construction and education sectors. Versatile in the courtroom, he has prevailed in cases involving a wide range of claims, from patent and trademark infringement to breach of contract, unfair competition and trade secrets misappropriation, and has successfully defended shareholder class actions and derivative suits.
"Glenn is a phenomenal addition to our first-chair trial bench," said LA-based Bill Molinski, who heads Orrick’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. "We are delighted to add one of the best recognized trial lawyers in the SoCal market to our growing team."
"I have long admired Orrick’s trial culture and record, and am excited to join my new colleagues," Glenn said. "Orrick offers a distinctive combination of litigation excellence, a global platform and a strong presence in Southern California -- with trial lawyers like Marshall Grossman and IP litigators like Mark Wine."
Glenn graduated from the University of Southern California and obtained his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School Of Law. He serves on the board of the Public Law Center, Orange County’s only pro bono law firm. Glenn joins Orrick from Paul Hastings, where he was a partner since 1992.
Long a litigation powerhouse in California, Orrick has added talent in the Southern California market recently. Marshall Grossman and Stacy Harrison joined the LA office from Bingham last year.
