Orrick has been named to Yale Law Women's ("YLW") list of the Top Ten Family Friendly U.S. Law Firms for the fourth consecutive year. The YLW report, which is considered the leading authority on family friendliness, analyzes indicators such as hours requirements, part-time and flex-time options, parental leave policies, and their utilization by male and female attorneys.
"At Orrick, we strive to set the legal industry standard for policies that allow women and all parents to grow professionally and care for their families. We are honored to be recognized Yale Law Women and strive to continue to improve in this important area," said Siobhan Handley, Orrick’s Chief Talent Officer.
In 2014, Orrick was also honored on Working Mother magazine’s and Flex-Time Lawyers’ 50 Best Law Firms for Women list for the 6th time. This survey evaluates part-time and flex-time policies, leave policies, alternative career programs and gender equity in leadership.
