Clients Rate Orrick Among Top 3 Tech-Savvy Firms

April.27.2015

The BTI Brand Elite 2015 report places Orrick among the top three most tech-savvy law firms and among the top ten most innovative firms. The report is based on interviews with 648 corporate counsel and other legal decision makers at Fortune 1000 companies and large organizations.

In an article published in Law360 to announce the rankings, Orrick partner Greg Heibel, a member of the firm’s Technology Companies Group and its Technology Committee, observed: “Technology is in Orrick’s DNA and so permeates everything the firm does. As the technology sector is one of Orrick’s key areas of focus, being tech savvy is essential to serving our clients.”

“We are grateful to our clients for this recognition,” said Justin Cooper, head of the firm’s Technology Committee. “Investing in technologies that enable greater efficiency, collaboration and mobility, such as our litigation case management system and forthcoming tech companies tool, is an essential part of our client service strategy.”

Orrick was also singled out by corporate counsel among the “Best of Best” law firms for bet-the-company work and as a likely long-term market leader in the legal sector.  In addition, Orrick was also included on BTI's list of 19 law firm brands on the rise, after jumping thirty spots from #59 to #29 in the overall survey.

Orrick was rated by clients among the 30 top US-origin law firms for client service in the BTI Client Services A-Team 2015 report, released in December.
