Orrick Advises Barclays Bank in Financing for ARC Global II

February.11.2015

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP recently advised Barclays Bank PLC, as administrative agent, sole bookrunner and sole lead arranger, in connection with the extension of a $100 million revolving credit facility to American Realty Capital Global II Operating Partnership, L.P. (“ARC Global II”), a publicly registered, non-traded REIT. Through an accordion option, ARC Global II may increase its borrowings under the credit facility up to $1.25 billion. The proceeds of the credit facility will be used for international and domestic portfolio acquisitions.

The credit facility will help ARC Global II enhance its capital structure and support its European acquisition strategy. In a statement ARC Global II’s President, Andrew Winer stated, “with the additional financing available through our new credit facility, we expect to have greater flexibility to execute on our acquisition strategy of purchasing strong office, industrial and special purpose net lease assets in both the U.S. and Europe.”

The Orrick team was led by partner Julian Chung and included partners John Narducci and Harry Clark along with associates Emin Guseynov, Aharon Schorr, James Larkin and Inessa Mirkin Owens.
