Orrick Adds Senior Compensation & Benefits Counsel in New York

​Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP announced today that Mitchel C. Pahl, formerly a partner at Duane Morris and before that Dewey & Leboeuf, has joined Orrick’s Compensation and Benefits Group in NYC as Senior Counsel.

Mr. Pahl has over 25 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation and specializes in ERISA fiduciary issues, private equity, corporate transactions and multinational executive compensation, and he is widely recognized in the field.

Jon Ocker, the chair of Orrick’s C&B practice, notes that "Mitch strengthens our bench in New York, is a fine complement to our leading global equity practice run by Laura Becking and Joyce Chen and enhances our ability to represent the world’s leading financial institutions and corporations on their compensation and benefit matters."

Mr. Pahl is a prolific author and speaker and received his J.D. from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and his LL.M. (Tax) from NYU School of Law.
