Chief Marketing Officer to Join Orrick


Orrick is pleased to announce that Betsy Donovan will join the firm as its Chief Marketing Officer, resident in New York, effective June 24, 2013. Ms. Donovan brings more than 30 years of marketing and business development experience, most recently serving as the Global Director of Business Development for Shearman & Sterling. She previously served in senior BD, sales, client relationship and strategic marketing roles at Ernst & Young and Xerox Corporation.

Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling, Ms. Donovan was recruited to lead the development of Ernst &Young's sales and marketing organization and she also served as a formal advisor to the firm’s Professional Women’s Network and the Diversity task force. At Xerox, she was responsible for leading sales, service and support in a variety of corporate and geographic roles.

Ms. Donovan earned an MBA from Fordham University and is a visiting professor of Marketing at The College of New Rochelle. She serves on the board of the Breast Cancer Alliance and the advisory board of the Carter Burden Center for the Aging in New York City and is a co-founder of the CNR Executive Roundtable, NYC.
