Orrick improved three positions to #12 in this year’s edition of Law360's Global 20 list, which ranked firms in six categories: the number of countries where the firm has offices, the number of offices outside the firm's home country, the percentage of attorneys working outside the firm's home country, the breadth of the firm's international work, the size and complexity of the firm's cross-border work and how pioneering the firm has been in its international efforts.
While each firm took a different path to global powerhouse status, their common bond is that they all share a starring role in some of the most complex cross-border work on the market today, which increasingly requires boots on the ground and broad expertise in global corporate, technology, currency and political trends.
