  • Laura: The implications of these cases and many others that are going on around the country really will shape the future of these types of generative AI technologies and how they can move forward. So, it's really exciting to me at the forefront of cases like that.

My clients really span the gamut. You know, I do a lot of work with tech clients. I do lot with consumer goods clients. A great example right now: we represent Microsoft in the cases that have been filed against both Microsoft and OpenAI that relate to the training of the large language models that power chat GPT and Copilot, whether or not that is copyright infringement or fair use.

I came over with a really amazing group of people who I still work with today, and I think within the first couple months of being at the firm, I was able to go to the Senior Associate Academy out in San Francisco and meet a whole host of my peers from around the globe, and it really reaffirmed that I made the right decision, making that jump and coming over here. And I've been happy here ever since.

The culture here is so different from other firms. There's a value placed on the employees from the ground up that I don't think you see at a lot of other law firms. This is truly a special place.
