The SEC's Division of Examination recently issued a Risk Alert that highlights the SEC's increasing attention focused on investment strategies integrating ESG investment strategies. In particular, the Risk Alert highlights one overarching concern: ESG claims are often not supported by appropriate management, policies, and processes.
