Billy Jacobson Discusses New DOJ Compliance Program Evaluation Criteria on Podcast

Billy Jacobson, a partner in our White Collar, Investigations, Securities Litigation, and Compliance group, recently participated in The Compliance & Ethics Blog’s podcast, “Billy Jacobson on the New DOJ Compliance Program Evaluation Criteria.”

In this episode, Billy provides an analysis of the DOJ’s recently released Guidance document, “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs.” Billy discusses highlights of key provisions of the document, gives insight into how the government’s thinking has evolved, and explains why companies based outside the US should study the new Evaluation guidance closely. Billy brings to this discussion his broad and deep experience in compliance, having served as a chief compliance officer, general counsel, outside counsel and a prosecutor in the FCPA unit at the DOJ.
