Stephen P. Hall is a trial lawyer and former Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who applies a business-minded approach to complex business disputes. Stephen has represented clients in various industries, including chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and financial. Using his experience leading teams in in large corporations, Stephen helps his clients navigate complex litigation matters to achieve company goals and objectives.
As a trial attorney, Stephen has served as first and second chair in cases involving commercial disputes and products liability claims. He also has experience representing clients in commercial and consumer arbitrations. Stephen's experience also includes engagements as counsel and lead counsel in class actions, complex fraud schemes, false claims defense, unfair and deceptive business practices, and executive-level employment matters. He has particular knowledge and experience in assisting clients with internal investigations and analyses related to government enforcement actions, discrimination claims, and regulatory compliance matters.
Throughout his legal career, Stephen has been actively involved in and served as a leader in the various bar associations. Most notably, he is currently serving as President of the Boston Bar Foundation and has previously served as President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, a state-wide bar association focused on advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal industry. Stephen has also served on the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission under two different administrations, screening applicants for judicial nominations.
In addition, Stephen devotes his time to pro bono affairs, including assisting the Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) and the Innocence Project with criminal appeals involving factual innocence.
