Zack Tavlin is an Associate based in the Houston office. Zack's practice focuses on environmental aspects of transactions, including due diligence, regulatory compliance and permit transfers. Zack’s practice includes experience with a variety of power generation and infrastructure projects, as well as a variety of other commercial transactions.

He has experience negotiating environmental provisions in purchase, sale, merger and credit agreements; leading and preparing for management, lender, and underwriter calls; and managing the retention and review of consultants and local counsel.

Zack can also guide clients through evaluating environmental justice considerations and risk factors associates with project sites.

Prior to joining Orrick, Zack was an environmental associate at a global law firm.
