Kayla Southworth is a Senior Associate in the New York office and a member of the M&A and Private Equity Group.

Kayla advises private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and public and private technology, energy, and life sciences companies in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority and majority investments, joint ventures, and other complex transactions. She also has experience advising clients on New York and Delaware corporate, partnership, limited liability company, and non-profit law, including corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters.

Prior to joining Orrick, she was an Antitrust Associate at Davis Polk and a Litigation Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell.
