Alexis Golling-Sledge is an associate in the General Litigation Group at Orrick's Los Angeles office.

Alexis works on diverse civil litigation and trial matters. She is also active in pro bono matters, currently representing multiple members of a Guatemalan family seeking immigration relief. 

In 2022, as a junior associate, Alexis was a team member of a high-profile three-week jury trial victory that was recognized as American Lawyer Litigators of the Week, Daily Journal’s Defense Verdict of the Year and Courtroom View Networks Most Impressive Defense Verdict of 2022.

In 2021, Alexis worked as a Pro Bono Fellow with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles in the Eviction Defense practice. She engaged in extensive motion practice and appeared in dozens of unlawful detainer hearings before Los Angeles Superior Court judges. Alexis practiced the art of dealmaking by negotiating on behalf of clients to resolve cases prior to trial.

Alexis graduated from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Alexis was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic and the Appellate Clinic, where she was co-author of a brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She served as a Staff Editor and was published in the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. She also served as a full time extern with the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
