Congratulations to our client Deel, a global compliance and payroll solutions platform, on its $425 million Series D funding round. This brings the total amount raised by the company to over $630 million and values the company at $5.5 billion. The round was led by Orrick client Coatue and includes Altimeter Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, YC Continuity Fund, Spark Capital, Green Bay Ventures and Neo, among others.
The Orrick team advising Deel on this round was led by Josh Pollick and includes Julien Barbey, William Blackman, Daswell Davis and Chad Smith. Orrick has advised Deel on its previous rounds, including most recently, its $156 million Series C in April 2021.
