Environmental Finance announced Orrick client Equitable Facilities Fund as its 2021 Social Bond of the Year award recipient in recognition of the Equitable School Revolving Fund public charter school facilities financing program, whose proceeds are used to offer low-cost, long-term, fixed-rate loans to high-performing public charter schools that excel in serving under-resourced students and communities of color. Since its 2018 launch, Equitable School Revolving Fund has committed over $450 million of financing and reached 37,000 students across the US. Our team is led by Eugene Clark-Herrera and includes Amanda Stephens, Chas Cardall, Alison Radecki, Thomas Mitchell, Andrea Ball, Lorraine McGowen, John MacKerron, Marshall Brozost, Jeffrey Philp, Sean Yates, Joshua Bonney and Christine Buddner.
