Orrick Advises on Azito Power Plant Expansion Project

An Orrick London team has advised Azito Energie and its joint venture shareholders, Globeleq and IPS, on the Phase 4 expansion project of the Azito gas-fired power project in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Azito is the single largest power project in Côte d’Ivoire. Its planned expansion will see Azito supplying around 30% of the country’s electricity. Orrick acted as developer counsel on the commercial and financing aspects. Our team included John Deacon, Matthew Stott, Emily Yung and Rebecca Grevitt.
